The ‘origin story’…Comic book powerhouses like Marvel and DC have been banking on them for decades, giving a glimpse to ‘how it all started’. But what does it mean to your new world? As far as your readers are concerned, what is the true origin of the world they’re reading about? What is the origin’s significance, or does it really even play a role at all?
